I am a graduate student in Book History and Digital Humanities via distance learning at Texas Tech University. I actually live in College Station, earned my M.A. in English from Texas A&M in 1991, and currently work in the Department of Petroleum Engineering as a student worker/technical editor.

As I am legally blind, my current research interest in Digital Humanities is the question of whether Braille should remain an option to accessibility of digital materials, and, if so, what is the best technology (e.g., refreshable Braille display) to employ for this purpose.

I plan to complete my BHDH certificate in 2015, then proceed to the Ph.D. program, remaining concentrated in book history.
